Scheduled - What’s happening?
As part of our ongoing effort to provide the best protection, a new workstation and server Cloud Agent will be released today for new installations of Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition.

We will release the new Cloud Agent via LiveUpdate to existing Windows OS workstations and servers automatically through a controlled release schedule starting on March 14, 2019. After March 26, 2019, the LiveUpdate will be available to all Windows OS workstations and servers.

In order to complete the update, it is required to reboot the updated device. Your computers will remain protected during the update however, you may see connectivity issues which will be indicated on the Cloud Agent UI prior to the reboot completing. Please monitor your workstations and servers, and perform the reboot at your earliest convenience.

Existing redistributable packages will be deprecated at this time, so you will need to create new updated packages to ensure the latest Cloud Agent is installed if you are using redistributable packages for installs.
